Clearly the owl didn't obey any of the restricted airspace warnings, nor the efforts from ATC to divert from it's vector on the runway. I'm pretty sure that it was a terrorist owl, intent on bringing the American economy to a halt by crashing a USAir flight (coincidence? I think not) on the runway in Pittsburgh (home of 6-time Superbowl champions...coincidence? I think not).No compassion here. The family of that owl should have been rounded up and sent to Gitmo, where they would have been waterboarded, electroshocked, and made to pose in compromising positions while unsupervised National Guardsmen took pictures with their camera phones.Except this was all pre-9/11, so I think my argument is moot. Poor, poor owl.
