Well, sort of kidding but I really paid no attention to the Olympics. I like the Winter Olympics more than the summer...so I'll probably pay more attention to those but I had an idea he was a swimmer, that's true. I never saw one of his events though so I was a bit uncertain. You might be surprised how little I know about many subjects that involve pop culture kind of stuff. In a lot of situations I find it leaves me with little to say...Anyway, bottom line is the kid should be left alone, he did what the "world" wanted now they should let him be. You think if a guy came up with a cure for cancer people would care if he went out and smoked a joint to celebrate? Funny thing is most people would not even know the name of the guy that cured cancer but they can name the line-up of their favorite sports team or tell you where to find naked pictures of Britney Spears on the internet.Sometimes I just find the madness to be too much...I mean if a guy establishes himself as the world's greatest brain surgeon but they find out that over the course of his 20 year career he smoked pot on a regular basis do they really want him to stop performing brain surgery and put him in jail? Or should he be allowed to go on saving lives? If you can smoke pot and be a great swimmer what's wrong with that?
