I actually supported the last one thinking it would alleviate the banking crisis, well it hasn't and the oversight for the money has been not tightly scrutinized. It would be refreshing to have the press report why the Republicans do not support the package. There is a whole lot of pork in the way of social programs in this, that should not have even been attempted at this time. Tax incentives for businesses both big and small would send a message to Wall Street that help is on the way. Sending checks to those that pay no taxes as well as those that do does no good if there are no jobs. I really thought Obama was smarter than this. I expected his push for more social program money but not in the middle of this mess. Politics as usual.
