Gotta admit that Pelosi was creepy with all that overly-enthusiastic applause. It was phony. Obama, less so. But I think he sketched such an ambitious agenda that actual achievements are likely to pale next to it.

Now that he's called out Congress on earmarks, will he have the balls to veto legislation with too many of them?

By the way, Republicans are about equally as proficient with earmarked pork, so the conservatives ought not gloat. One man's pork is another man's necessity.
