I just agreed. One other thing: Based on the PMs I’ve shared with many of the core DBIS bandoleros, my week is only fair-to-midland-interesting in comparison… so I wish they (you know who you are) would really consider taking a few minutes every now and then to journalize a little truth n fiction of their own as a tribute to artists who wear their creative conscience on their shirtsleeves and can still make it fascinating…or at least apparent. Life is short; two years short of a decade can destroy a lot…and bring the best notions of a civilization to its knees. What do we have if not the means to communicate ideas amongst people? Most everything worth doing is done in the physical form with hands and all that bumpy human stuff. But here’s the internet, all about words, pictures, sounds, information. If opening up an internet forum is all about slicing through bumper sticker blurbs and soundbites, then the internet has fallen through the cracks almost as badly as our real time human social conundrum. & that sucks, bro. Hey, I’m acutely aware that I’m not playing with a full deck, E, it is what it is (three too many concussions as a young man maybe), but writing stuff down and trying to work a thought melodically around some corners is therapeutical, & the dbis is where my rut led me.
