I'm with Herring and the bear on this and I highly recommend Huckabees. I can also say I love Being There so maybe if you like one you'll also like the other. I don't know...they have sort of a similar feel and my brother, who you could certainly call a huge movie fan said of Huckabees "It's like a film from the 70s because it really tries to make you feel something and think about things and they just don't make that kind of film anymore."

Before he said that to me I did not really see the "70s" thing because I thought it was sort of film of the moment in that I thought it was a reflection of our post 9/11 psyche...but then I got what he was saying and the director did cast some pretty big 70s actors (Hoffman, Tomlin, Huppert) in the film so maybe he was also thinking that he wanted to make a sort of 70s kind of film.

Funny thing, when I saw it at the cinema the people walking out at the end of the film all seemed to think it sucked...they were not as pissed off as the crowd leaving No Country for Old Men but they did not dig it that's for sure...
