My own prediction is that things will go poorly. They generally do.

Nevertheless, there may be reason for cheer. Those will of course be limited, temporal, fleeting.

Perhaps we will turn over "cheer" to the federal government, and then things will go about as well as can be imagined.

In the meantime, I suggest these vids, particularly (predictably) the Ron Paul parts. It's not his best-ever stage performance, but I think he does manage to get something across. See if you agree.
