And as anyone who's gone through AA knows, the first step in conquering a problem is admitting the problem. TK never really accepted any blame for what was clearly an error in judgement at best and a criminal act at worst. He'd even occasionally joke about it. So yes, some admirable public service but no . . . no redemption. He was not an honorable man.
