I just poked my head out and found that the DBIS is taking on some serious water and the bilge pumps are failing. We are on some rough seas here I'd say...
Anyway, I have not seen that film. I admit that certain actors will make me avoid a film. Keanu Reeves is one of them. I don't dislike him really I just find him pretty tedious. I've liked some films he's been in but if there is little about a film that attracts me to it and it has an actor I don't get much out of watching...well...yeah, I'll end up skipping that flick. Also, I just don't have much patience with films that don't suck me in, so if I get 20 minutes in and decide this is going nowhere, I'm out.
Seriously, I'm not a snob about it. If somebody finds something that makes them feel good, I say have at it!
I did see Inglourious Basterds, the new Tarantino film, and it is an interesting sort of disaster. I'm not sure how people feel about it but in some ways I thought it was kind of a dead on take on the current political landscape...of course, I'm not sure a lot of folks would agree with that...it could also be seen as the most offensive film of all time proving Tarantino is a complete moron...I made it all the way through it though...
