The figure being reported is 53 million in Federal funding over the past 15 years. Yes, that is a lot of money, but really, it's a ridiculous figure when contrasted to the bailout money bonus payouts, failed weapons systems and how much money conservatives have funneled toward keeping people from screwing. And as I noted earlier, just where is all the conservative concern over that crap? Or how about this? Between 1996 and federal Fiscal Year 2008, Congress funneled over $1.5 billion dollars (through both federal and state matching funds) to abstinence-only-until-marriage programs.http://www.nomoremoney.org/index.cfm?pageid=947
Just look at these buffoons and their "care" when it comes to blowing federal money. And on something that comes natural to humans, too.
