I've read all of her books and I must say I have officially given up on buying the new ones - I reckon she lost the plot around the time she killed Helen off. Hope you get more out of it than I did... It's a shame, as the earlier books in the series were good. I think the TV series also put me off as the image I had in my mind of Thomas Lynley was nothing like the fellow they cast as him.A book that I really enjoyed was "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" by Mary Ann Shaffer. Have you read that one?
