That's awesome! When I was in year 6, we had a weekly project to do that sometimes would be presented to the class. I often shared stories I had written. I sometimes wish that we did more of this sort of thing in high school, because it is a great way to build self-confidence in front of your peer group (which can be hard). Plus, it's always a good thing for a kid to feel special and have their talents appreciated. I think it's a great idea!
