Doc obliged Maya to get a flew shot (as a lesser evil to contracting the flu which she does not have the immune system to fight; immunosuppression being an effect of her protocol). Doc vigorously recommends that the progs & I get the shot as well.

So I call our family Doc to arrange a time…and his receptionist informs me that [if we have insurance] flu shots are not available to the boys for another week or two~~existing doses are for govt. insured children ONLY (goodwill recognized and acknowledged, if applicable).

But get this: Shots for insured children have been backordered & there is no guarantee they will be available. Bureaucracy, schmireaucracy.

I’m not convinced that flu shots are crucial. Seems to me like FUD marketing in a bottom line Plan-B scenario. But because of what we’ve already weathered…I’ve been bent and formed into an easier sale (like a grape on a vine). …So the itchy feeling that these inoculations are the supply of an invented demand still exists (along with a very slight fear of even slinkier twisted means) but is likely to take a backseat to roller blind prudence.  I’m gona get inoculated.  &…

when big bro deems it fashionable to allow the effing insured to inoculate their offspring, why, then we will be shootin’ up our futures with said mystery matinee
