I like Jameson’s. It’s smooth. But if you lean towards gasoline the likes of Maker’s Mark
and such, …well, …you won’t be satisfied. But if you had Canadian whiskey and thought
it was a too “light” -- ye want a li’l more gumption, a li’l more wisdom born o the ramble
but without so much the burn, …or without going over to Johnnie Walker Black, etc., …
Jameson ..or Jameson Special Reserve 12 yr. old. (or their Gold Reserve is said to be the
shit but I don’t know from experience) is plenty Irish whiskey for my contentment. FWIW
(I did debate not posting, though, as I figure you’re querying the experts, not the run-o-the-mill.)
~~ Also, I was told (recently) that Bushmills Black Bush is very, very good. Oh... & John Powers
is said to be a smoooth favorite …but you would probably have to get Mick to ship you a case.
