They started a new thing at my kids' school last year. Anytime they had a show of any kind, they'd set up a camera on tripod in the back and take a better quality video and then sell DVD-R's for about $5. Most importantly, they then request that nobody stand up or get in the way to take their own video. Folks sometimes snap a few pictures, but most get the idea that too many can be annoying. You might offer a suggestion . . .
