[this effin digital age …takes …& takes …& takes … gives a little, …takes & takes. There was this one year we spent halfway up this rock in Palmdale, CA, with a boombox encircled by stones symbolizing a small campfire. We called this li’l get-together “the burnin' bush” …& things had not yet gone full-tilt digital & earth really did feel just a bit more promising…even though the deadly presidents were still machinating with our heads & freedoms & the sacred lands of nearby-n-faraway peoples, planting seeds of ire & other such mindfucks, ..but we didn’t ALWAYS feel it pressing then…ya know? Ooops..digressed into buzzkill again, for those of u who r content wit the status quo]
