oh, to wake-up early the following morning and regret some only-semi-stupefied ravings
of heart & anxt and sappy love long melody and pangs of woe n wonder-whys ..paradox.
even amidst the counted blessings that are yesterday’s laughter n the day at present hand.
But some melancholy came late last night, with the advent of one more true communicator
leaving this realm for..better realm or worse realm or never-realm or ever-realm, probably
..no, not @the helm, which is where folks like him, rarities, so strident a benevolent human
peculiarity, should have been. Must have been...in a parallel universe where they embrace
humanitarianism and humanitarian sciences & shun, “...It ain’t personal, it’s only business.”
& now how old is Chomsky; how cold is the wake that sits on the brink of every silence?
But no one can take-back an email or a personal message..or a post (too many ones & zeros).
Funny thing, I’m not even close to this loss. I’m distant. Some here are holistically closer..jeez!
Seems like every day I find somethin’ new
It never really matters what the weather’s like
She came to pass …that we were the fabled Xanadu
A human condition more desperate than words into a mic
WE speak in a group; we talk individual
& what do we yearn aloud: the truth of life?
Spoken word is a lot but it never say’s everything
Grown maladjusted---so we may never get it right
I feel it’s a paradox. This human condition
The greatest of all our minds. Die with information
They take it to bed alone. Took years [just] to get it
But the politics o' might. Never seem to regret it
I feel it’s a paradox [Jukebox paradox]
it’s a paradox
Born into a world of stains & fixtures
But what does it mean to be free and civilized?
The sound o’ construction, …sound o’ consumption
How much more do we really need to feed our appetite?
You seek information, you keep it inside your head
You share with the room, if you know, when you can
U’ve tried to remind us to live ...& then you’re dead
You found how we live is …but a drop in the pan

Listen to the scre-ams
Listen to the screams
I know you hear, you hear
What you want to hear, in
One ear & out the other ear
But listen, really, …listen
Listen to the scre-ams….
…eee-eams
…eee-eams
