Perhaps some Donner Party genes at work here.Perhaps a mataphor for the eating of the middle class by the most insidious of taxes disguised as energy prices, interest rates, and health care insurance premiums.Throw in to this pot of obscenity a 400 - 1 ratio of CEO income over worker's income, a profoundly heinous economic cannibalism already has eaten to the bone of many who barely survive the onslaught of a dissolute few.
