David,

I know your film scoring probably dictates that you purchase all of these high-tech gizmos but remember to retain your human touch, okay? I mean, in some garage right now, a pimple faced 15 year old, who can't connect with parents, or school, or the opposite/same sex, or whatever, using a shit guitar and an even shittier amp, is learning the chords to "Subsitute" or "Career Opportunities" or.... and, given a bit of time, talent, perspiration and perseverence, that kid is going to come up with something that I may well want to hear. Perhaps it's the punk rock side of me that doesn't relate to all the prog-rock talk on the board but for me, David, as formidable as your studio wizardry is, it's your head and your heart that resonate with me.
