She is a helluva singer. Early in the season, it was remarked by at least one judge that they didn't really see her as the type of person who would "have much use" for a show like this, but that they hoped she would keep "bringing it," because she had it "going on." Or words to that effect.

I started watching that show several seasons back, largely because certain people and I seemed to have so little to talk about & they watched it . . . and over time I've come to enjoy it more and more. It seems a bit deflated now as compared to a couple of years back, but it's an enjoyable show if you like that sort of thing. I will miss Simon's snarky comments next year.

Randy: "Yo, dawg, yo, whassup. For me, awww dawg you know, just keepin' it real, for me, dawg, I just didn't get it." Ellen: "You do know I'm a lesbian, right? Have I made that clear?" Kara: "Oh, honey, it's just, I want to encourage you because, it's just, well, it just wasn't there." Simon: "That was like someone's drunken uncle performing karaoke at a wedding. Appalling."
