Yes, it is true that to really appreciate this board you have to have read Dante's Divine Comedy probably with a rather large emphasis on the Inferno section...otherwise there really is no way to view this place from the right perspective.
All this in a thread titled "David Baerwald", imagine a person skimming the archives of this board, seeing a thread with this title and thinking "I bet this thread actually might contain some information about the man!"
