cool review... interesting how some folks cotton on to visionaries as they're creating their entirely original artistic statements while for others it takes years to come around. more than one stanley kubrick film comes to mind, as does the work of many visual artists, van gogh, etc. many walked out of kubrick's 2001, the beatles couldn't get a label when they were just starting out, and of course there's many, many more... david baerwald, for example, creates masterpieces that only a relative few seem to notice... to me, it makes him more of a personal treasure, but i'm sure for him, at least financially, it just plain sucks. on the other side of the coin, many thought "the hot tub time machine" was a good, if not great, movie... ugh.
