Today marks what would have been John Lennon's 70th birthday. Picked up Double
Fantasy (Stripped Down) - disc 2 is the original JL mixes remastered and
sounding great - while disc 1 is some type of pseudo remix / pared down / not
all that different from the original version of the album. It too sounds great
but I'm not sure about the Stripped Down part. Either way - good on you JL -
your music still inspires me. Here are some snaps from my Liverpool pilgrimage
in 2006 -
