The key to stopping Speaker-hopeful John Boehner's brag for a Republican landslide, will be successful results of the recent rally encouraging African Americans and Hispanics to vote as well as that one later this month of John Stewart designed to get out young voters.Obama's back yard get togethers, Bill Clinton's efforts in Nevada and Arkansas, along with the First Lady's trip westward, all will turn out some heretofore reluctant independents who IMO are becoming disappointed with Tea Party primary victors enlightening all of us with their zany ideas for captaining the US Senate were they to win.Democrats are narrowing margins of previous polls; for example Patty Murray has pulled ahead of her challenger who just a couple of days ago polled two points higher than her.Too, I believe Reid will prevail in Nevada. Russ Feingold has a fight on his hands, but I remain hopeful there in Wisconsin. In any event, I don't expect the Pledge to America (which takes a sledge to the middle class)to have near the success the Contract for America had in 1992 when Gringrich in 1994 enriched the House of Representatives with Newtspeak, making Orwell miss his prediction by a decade and a single letter 't'.
