I agree with you on all counts, Kathryn! I've been a devoted fan of Paul's for over twenty years.
He's a world-class singer/songwriter whose intelligence permeates his songs. I always thought
he was a bit lacking in the charisma/physicality department, and that deficit probably kept him
from gaining a wider audience. The remoteness of Australia, and the fickleness of radio also
worked against him. In recent interviews, Paul has admitted to a 20-year heroin habit. Does he reflect upon that? I
had heard rumors that he dabbled in it during the late 70s or early 80s, but it sounds like it's
been with him in recent years. Peter T.
