David Baerwald’s TRIAGE does not even make the first 10 pages (I stopped after that). The movie, TRIAGE (’09), makes the 1st page. I’ve not seen the movie ..but the DB album I’ve listened to so many times the coating’s come off the disc. Still everytime I listen to it, I learn something new. Still I am deeply moved by the epic piece of rock-n-roll artifact. BUT it remains amongst the obscured. Why?? Because Earth is a place where really good things go to get buried under a mountain of paperwork and the superstitions & burdens of the upper-class. Where pink illiterate shills for a surmounting train wreck gather momentum amongst the throngs of mob slobbery. Where drunken monks make perfect sense but who really cares and sunken ships wouldn’t even have sunk if not for the burdens of the upper-class. Zen & the Art of Polishing a Turd. I strung a bracelet today for a gift exchange; it means more, IMO, than a store bought item. But it won’t matter probably in the long run. I know very well what it means to have one’s dreams crushed. But I also know how it feels to continue getting up in good company ..and that’s way cool. But it probably won’t mean anything in the long run. I can’t imagine how it must feel to have created something SO FUCKING OUTSTANDING only to have it mostly fall through the cracks. The older I get, the less impressed I am with the human race. I mean, I still care ..& I still get that idealistic feeling every once in a while, but I really don’t think it’s going to mean anything in the long run.

Googled The Wall

The entire 1st page is references to Pink Floyd’s The Wall. (Same general sort of Epic Album Concept. BUT not as poignant, IMO.)
