Learning about Politics
In Tuscon, one 9-yr old girl recently wanted to learn about politics. She'll be buried in a couple of days, having learned all she ever will.I keep wishing that "the news" would take to introducing all their news stories in the same way. You know the way I mean--that starry-eyed notion that the deity has done something amazing in terms of delivering a miracle. "Miracle Passenger Survives." That kind of thing, only, I want to see:"God's Plan Continues to Unfold: Dozens Killed in Hail of Gunfire."Maybe I am just having a dark day.Not as dark as the day of that little girl, though.
