I was pleasantly surprised to see The Bottle Rockets get some coverage on the CNN
website today. Has Hell frozen over possibly?

Here's one of their new songs, The Long Way:

If you're an iTunes consumer, spend a few dollars on these choice cuts:
Wave That Flag (the best middle finger to red necks ever!)
Kerosene (an incredibly moving tale of death by fire in a trailer, and a society that had
turned a blind eye)
Radar Gun (the hilarious result of giving a revenue-generating piece of electronics to an
overly enthusiastic member of the law enforcement community)
Lucky Break: (a laborer's silver lining view of being hurt on the job)
Indianapolis: (breaking down in yes, Indianapolis, being forced to listen to too many John
Cougar songs, while waiting for the boys at Firestone to get the repairs done).
There are heaps more but I'll spare you my efforts at emulating Lester Bangs.
Indulge yourself by checking out this long unrecognized, thoroughly original band.
