When my son Chris was about 10 ( he's now 25) my 3 kids and I went on a bike ride . Part of that ride
included crossing a 4 lane road ( pushing our bikes ). Crossed to the centre ok then a car in the first
lane stopped for us to cross the last two lanes so Chris took off running just as I spotted a car in the
second outside lane speeding through..I just remember screaming "STOP CHRIS !" and him pulling up
just as the car missed him by inches.
I think that moment will be etched in my mind till I die.
I must ask him if he remembers that event.
