I can't speak for everybody, but I'm where I always am.

It's been a weird day. Our ancient but much loved cat Tigger passed away peacefully last night. Tigger was the subject of a Eugene composition entitled "Tigger's Tune" on his guitar compilation. Gene got to hang out with him here when he stayed with us. Gene posted a photo on Facebook of Tigger taken on his holiday here and has been receiving condolences on the loss of his friend ever since.

The circle of life is very apparent today. We had a new calf born overnight and when I walked out into the paddock to greet it, there was a pair of courting mountain ducks just thinking about creating their next generation. RIP Tigger.

Onto musical news - have recently bought three new Australian disks - "The Great Impression" by Sparkadia (melodic pop), "The Experiment" by Art vs. Science (weird but fun) and "Bad Machines" by Shane Nicholson (Kasey Chambers' other half - country pop/rock - with guest appearances from his wife and Paul Kelly). I'm enjoying them all but can't wait for "Move Like This" - the new Cars CD due out on May 10th - Woo-hoo!!!
