So many Monty Python bits have stuck with me since I first encountered the show on PBS
during the mid-70s. During those pre-cable TV days, this 30-minute program made me
feel like I was in on some kind of new, subversive, slightly under the radar, brilliantly
nonsensical (in a sophisticated kind of way) take on the world. Peter T. (in a white wine sauce with shallots, mushrooms and garlic.)
