weeks later the World Trade Center was attacked. We have friends in Westchester who offered her a
place to stay outside the city but she elected to stay in her dorm in lower Manhattan to try & help out.She sent a remarkable series of emails to family and friends detailing her experiences in the city in the
days following 9/11. Both she and I had lost the emails but a family friend had saved them. I recently
got the link and asked Katie if I could post her emails. She agreed. Here they are if you're interested in
reading them.
