This a just part of a longer interview with Southern writer Harry Crews. Fans of DB and S. Penn should recognize him from the movie The Indian Runner (he was the crazy looking father who broke out singing after the David Morse character killed his fugitive son).
One interesting thing is there is another video on youtube of this guy when he appeared on the Dennis Miller Show. This guy is obviously one brilliant, crazy MoFo and after listening to him, you can realize why people like Sean Penn and DB like these kind of people. This man reminds me of that one crazy, charismatic friend we all have, that we love being around, but only for short bursts out of fear of not knowing what he or she is going to do next.
