Thanks for the recommendations Herring. Will definitely track down the Thomas Dolby - loved the quirky/bizarre nature of his earlier work. Not sure about Kate Bush - bought a CD by her a few years back that I just couldn't get my head around. Love the Foo Fighters! They're currently in Australia. I saw the review for their Perth show and it was rated the best concert for 2011 - wish I'd been there.

I'm currently listening to 'Australian Idle" - the solo release from Tim Freedman of The Whitlams; "Moonfire" by Boy and Bear (which just won a stack of ARIA awards) and the remastered Pink Floyd collection "A foot in the door" which is transporting me back in time!
