The unfortunate but increasingly obvious truth is that these miserable Scrooges really, and I don't
mean metaphorically, want a return to Antebellum Georgia, with starving armies of compliant Negroes
and White Trash Serfs tilling the placid fields under a Mason's Moon for the benefit of a small,
fortunate few, administered by a frightened, expendable Oversight Class, and enforced by cadres of
militarized police and professional, mercenary soldiers. The Middle Ages, with automatic weapons.
