Yeah, it seems to me that just from the standpoint of wanting to figure out what's what, one side's strident claims that the process is perfectly safe and the other side's claims that it represents the destruction of life as we know it are both . . . debatable.

Some sort of regulation without all the hoopla seems in order, but then again, maybe we need the hoopla in order to get the regulation.
