I've written about this before, but one thing I really enjoy about music is how songs or albums can become a sort like life-bookmark. For example, take Neil Young's version of Oh! Susanna. A couple of weeks ago we took our girls on a trip to the beaches of Lake Michigan. One afternoon, nearing sunset, while we were in the water, there was a party going on some where onshore and the band there was doing Young's version of Oh! Susanna. So now, every time I hear that song, I think of floating in that water, watching my young girls play and laugh on a clear, beautiful summer day during sunset.......And that's what I enjoy about music......
