Sheryl nailed a good vocal once in awhile . . . Linda Perry less often. Susanna Hoffs could sing in tune, but she had a pretty thin, wispy little voice.

I've been listening to a lot of Gal Costa's early CD's (from the Tropicalia era) lately. She's fantastic, and those records had some pretty daring production for the day. And some really exquisite Caetano Veloso tunes.
