When it comes to the sacredness of a "life," one contradiction I've never seen an adequate answer for is how can those pro-life be in favor of the death penalty and those who are pro-choice be so often against the death penalty.

So many times these same people so strongly in support of the anti-abortion stance are often times also for the death penalty. If "life" is sacred, how can that be?

Then on the other hand, often those who are pro-choice also often lean toward an opposition to the death penalty.
