"A melancholy lesson of advancing years is the realisation that you can't make old friends."
I've gradually realized over the years that it's highly unlikely I'll develop any new friendships, the
kind one makes during one's teenage years or in college. Perhaps I'm wrong. Perhaps if a few of
the DBIS board members lived a bit closer to New Hampshire, hmm.
