Have any of you looked at Mars lately? My daughter noticed it last night in the southern sky around midnight. It was very easy to distinguish it from the other stars/planets with its amber glow.

Andrea had posted an article about it the other day and how it's closer to us than ever in our lifetime. It's worth a look.
