Quick Explanation to All:
Kim is a member of a online group of singers and artist / animators called WaveRevo. There are 8 members and they live all over the country. They are involved in a worldwide competition called a “Chorus Battle”. There were 39 groups at the beginning of the competition. These groups hail from all over the world. The object is to take a song (of your choice) that already exists, find or create a track that has the vocals removed, create your own vocal arrangement using the existing lyrics, add harmonies, have each singer record their own part / parts, create animated avatars to represent each member, mix all the individual vocal files together to create a chorus (Kim’s main Contribution), and mix that with the animated video to create the finished product.
Please watch this. It’s incredible. Keep in mind that these kids are putting their parts together in their bedroom / dorm room while maintaining high academic standings. They are working together using the internet and creating a singular piece of entertainment to compete with others around the world doing the same. I know they ask for an email address to vote but the organizers are not in this to collect email addresses. I hope you enjoy this as much as John and I do. See link below.
A couple of the instructions were a little off. If you scroll down a bit in the instructional video you will see a block titled “Published Aug, 1 2015”. click on the link below that that says “and here is the link to vote”. Enter your name in first block. Your email address in second block and check team Yellow. Then hit submit.
