Well...I don't really get Wes Anderson either, but I did enjoy The Grand Budapest Hotel and parts of The Royal Tenenbaums.

Saw St. Vincent the other night and enjoyed it but understood how so many could see in some ways as being an American cookie-cutter type assembled movie. Love the ending shot of Bill Murray singing along out of tune to a Bob Dylan song.

Birdman escaped me, but I think that is more of film making cultural thing than anything else.

As I grow older, dialog and body language in the visual arts seem to becoming more important to me.

Rectify is a show I can't hark enough. Justified was a wonderful show that I feel didn't get the raves it deserved. Some of the dialog was so entertaining.

Sadly, there are so many things to find out there - probably too much - but access to these great shows is limited by the carriers and being forced to join their service.

What sucks, too, is the practice of American re-makes of these shows. Some of them are too good on their own to be re-made in tepid American style.
