OK Eric. Based on your review - and intrigued by your dismay - I didn't
read it. But my wife did. Her thoughts on the ending - "to me it fit with
the story. Finding magic in ordinary life. Taking the joys and sorrows and
making the best of it. That's where the magic lies". She really enjoyed
the character building in the story.
