"Reg - I don't doubt your conviction in Bernie's genuineness - but can he
deliver?"Basically, I think he is the only candidate running that will deliver a
move in the right direction. The only other guy I find acceptable on the
list would be Kasich but I doubt he survives the Republican's insane
primary process. That party has marched itself right off a cliff and have
no chance of getting anybody elected...unless Hillary is the Democrat and
there is an indictment or indictments that come from the FBI
investigation. I think the Republicans would have a chance if they
nominated Kasich and obviously they have asked him to hang around...but
Cruz and Trump are just horrible candidates that have no chance to win a
general election. Bernie, I think would make a great president and I think he would get
things done because in truth he is an independent and I think would have
better luck working with both sides of the aisle than any of the other
candidates. People should face facts on Hillary, the Republicans are
going to look to make her presidency a horror show. Anything and
everything she says or attempts to do will be attacked, blocked, and
stalled for as long as possible.Top this off with the fact that her email crimes have been under
investigation for a year by the FBI (nearly 150 agents have worked on the
case), a Grand Jury has been assembled, we already know what she did was
a crime and however it pans out the Republicans will be going at her for
that...and know that while she is not going to go to jail for the email
issue, if they get her on it (and they should) the sentence for this
crime is you are no longer allowed to hold public office. There is no
question she committed a crime with her basement server, was told not to
do it, did it anyway, and obviously knew better, and it is an utter
disgrace our Secretary of State did this. If this had been done by a
Secretary of State under George W. Bush this would be a major media
event...it is shameful that our media has not addressed this in the way
they should. In rational times she would be asked by the DNC to step down
as a candidate...not be promoted as the Democrats favored candidate. They
are putting up a candidate that is wounded and already not well liked or
trusted by most of America. That's pretty stupid but stupid seems to be
the way of this process now. If there is a way for the Democrats to lose
this election it is through running Hillary Clinton. With all due respect to Peter, this is not warts we are talking about,
this is a crime that is now out in the open that disqualifies her from
holding public office ever again. The Republicans are aware of this. It's
no joke and it is not about me disliking the Clintons. http://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2016/04/04/hillary-clinton-email-

But Bernie is out there selling himself as the answer to the downtrodden
- whose numbers are sadly increasing yearly. But will we vote for that?"Both Trump and Sanders are delivering a message that many people want to
hear, basically that it can no longer be business as usual in Washington.
They are both correct. However, Trump is a self-serving egomaniac that
would be a horrible president and would encounter the same sort of
opposition Hillary would except probably from both sides of the aisle.
Cruz is a nut that is not even worth discussing and probably out of all
the candidates is by far the most dangerous...that is not a guy I would
want anywhere near the "button" as I think he would welcome an
apocalypse. Will people vote for Bernie, sure, they are voting for him
now the thing is I think he would do even better in a general election.
With Hillary out of the way the media would embrace him over Trump, who
is very likely the Republican candidate...unless there is an all out
brawl at the Republican convention. I actually think some Trump voters
would come over to Bernie's side and Bernie would win all of the groups
that would lead to Hillary winning as well...women, blacks, and
Hispanics. Trump will lose with those voters at such a massive level he
has no shot...on top of which many Republicans will not support him. He
has no chance in a general election. None. All of the stuff people say
about "fearing Trump" is just utter nonsense...but Hillary and her
possible indictment may be the one path to President Donald Trump. "Good will and do the right thing? And what happens if he wins. I know
he's a Washington insider (hard not to be when you've worked there for so
long) - but is he connected enough?"He has been around a long time and has always stood for doing the right
thing. He does know his way around Washington, he is well liked there,
and he has more potential to get things done than any other candidate.
The media wants to project this message he is some crazed dreamer that is
totally lost. That is a total fabrication. It is amazing that for a
politician that has been around as long as he has if you look at his
record and listen to him over the years there is none of the flip-
flopping or saying things just to get votes that you see all through
Hillary's career. On top of which he has none of the garbage in his
closet that Hillary has just overflowing out of her's. Yes, he is
connected and he also has the right priorities. I think he also has the
potential to be maybe our best president when it comes to dealing with
foreign relations. We could use that now too."I don't know Reg - I know he's filled arenas and he's raking in millions
in contributions (more than even HRC) - but for some reason - I just
can't see it. I just don't think this is his game to win."Well, the truth is the DNC, the media, and of course the Clinton campaign
have worked pretty hard to discourage people from voting for him. It's
been pretty disgusting from my perspective. So, yes, it is an uphill
battle for him to get the nomination...which is why I am rooting for
Hillary to be indicted soon...then maybe the DNC and the media will come
to their senses.
