Yeah, I can see Hackett doing something along those lines here:

at 2:36 , but Prince does it at least twice as fast :-)The Iron Maiden track has more of the speed, but uses a more boring cord progression, but that's just my personal taste :-)Would be cool to see it used in comfortably numb - there are several places in that solo, where such a stunt would fit :-). I think I will suggest it to our local danish PF tribute band :-) (they are really good - Scandinavian Pink Floyd Project - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-lu_1Fh_ts)
