I hope the role of Russia's hacking the DNC and the subsequent feeding of information to Wikileaks receives
greater scrutiny. It's possible that Putin did what all of his Cold War predecessors couldn't do: change
America's leadership, gain incalculable political advantage, and spread Russian influence to places
previously thought impossible. The EU may be crumbling under the weight of the migrant crisis and the rise
of populism, NATO countries are questioning long-assumed alliances, and America may well be withdrawing
from her role on the world stage. What can one do but look to... Germany.
The religious among us might be saying a few prayers for the survival of Angela Merkel (new leader of
the
free world).
