Japan has a healthy appetite for the same things that we have but they lack access to these weapons. Look again at the statistics I offered, United States deaths per 100,000 (14.24), Japan deaths per 100,000 (.05). It can't be that we are just better marksmen? Don't you think that the availability of so many lethal weapons significantly accounts for this disparity?
