Ahh yes, I remember music.
The new Steely Dan is pretty nice, though I can't imagine dropping over $75 to see those old farts in one of those fancy assed new arenas. I can't wait until the day that I can pay $9 to see them at a county fair.
I've been listening to the following:
the brand new Cowboy Mouth disc "Uh Oh"
Von Ray - major label debut
NDV (Nick D'Virgilio) "Karma"
Steve Earle "Jerusalem"
Fiddler on the Roof - OST
plus several blues artists, including Shemekia Copeland, Popa Chubby and Joe Moss.
I want to pick up the new Cheap Trick cd, which I heard is quite nice.
Concert wise, in the last month I saw Von Ray, Cowboy Mouth, The Paybacks, Supa Group and Powder. In the next month I will see Jeff Beck, Clyde Stubblefield, The Junkers, and maybe the B-52s. In October comes more Cowboy Mouth, plus Electric Six and Chris Duarte.
