From time to time the history of some musicians really surprise me and Steve Miller of the Steve Miller Band is one of them. I highly recommend watching Dan Rather's interview of Miller. I think many will be surprised at the background of Miller and how expansive his career has been. It goes from playing with Chuck Berry to participating in the civil rights movement. He is also a pretty good story teller.
